About Forte Theatre

Founded in 2018 by Brenda & Randall Dodge, Forte Theatre Company is a professional theatre organization dedicated to enriching and engaging Milwaukee’s southwest suburban communities through accessible live performance and arts education. We remove barriers to participation by offering programming that is geographically convenient, financially attainable, and welcoming to audiences of all ages and experience levels.

Our work spans professional mainstage productions and robust youth programming, creating a multi-generational ecosystem of engagement. At the same time, we are deeply committed to sustaining the local arts economy by employing Milwaukee-based actors, designers, and teaching artists.

 

Through this dual focus—community access and professional opportunity—Forte serves as both a cultural anchor and a pipeline for future artists and audiences.
